About Us
660OUTLAWS was started by a group of heads up racers on September 14th 2009 with the intent of changing the East Tennessee area. The region as we know it now is dominated by bracket racing and Street Racing. We wish to educate both racers and the public on why racing should be kept on the track and show everyone the pure adrenaline packed excitement of real Heads Up Drag Racing.
Here we don't race fiberglass panels, glued on to hollow steel tubing, rolling billboard, bracket cars and we don't race 1700# rails with there engines sitting on top of there 17" tires. Here we race 3,000# +- street legal type door slammers!!! No, most are not the kind you would see traveling to Florida and some you might not see picking the kids up from school. But don't let that fool you into thinking most ain't packing over a thousand plus horsepower into a car that can legally be tagged and driven. Some are making over a thousand before the Nitrous Oxide even starts to flow or the boost starts to rise!!! These cars require expert knowledge in setting up chassis, nitrous, boost, and computer skills as well.
